How to style a bodycon midi skirt
Two things concerned me and had me on the fence about this pale, light grey, striped bodycon midi skirt from Smart Set. Frist, it’s pretty form-fitting and figure-hugging, which had me scared it might show all my lumps and bumps. Second, it’s a midi, which means it will probably hit me at a weird spot on my legs, making me look shorter, frumpier and drawing attention to the largest part of my calves. Although it is pretty tight on the body and it does hit me mid-calf, it looks surprising okay. I’ve already done a weekend look with it, so this time around, I wanted a more edger look. I wanted a chic rock n’ roll look that I would be able to wear for drinks on the patio. It was easily achievable with a killer pair of black open-toed booties, a black denim vest and a few statement pieces of jewelry. I love that the skirt is high-waisted leaving me with endless possibilities on ways to style it this season.
