Roger’s Cup 2015

When I got the invitation to attend this year’s Roger’s Cup, the first thing that came to mind was… “What am I going to wear?” This widely popular sport has quickly evolved into quite a fashionable and elegant event, we have the trend-setting Williams sisters to thank for that, and I wanted to make sure I looked the part. Since it was going to be in the high 30’s, I knew I wanted something easy, breezy and comfortable, but with a ton of style. Since tennis is somewhat of a rich man’s sport, I knew I wanted something a bit more “fancier” than my typical mall dress, so I headed to David’s Bridal.

Not only does David’s Bridal offer stunning bridal gowns and bridesmaids’ dresses, they offer an array of beautiful special occasion dresses, perfect for a tennis match. Known for its outstanding value with fashionable designs, I knew I wouldn’t have a problem finding that perfect dress. I spent quite a while sifting through exclusive designers in a ton of different colours, patterns, styles and silhouettes, until I found that perfect one. Although my dress fits me perfectly, David’s Bridal does offer onsite alterations and with more than 60 years of experience dressing women for all of life’s special occasion.

I absolutely fell in love with this gorgeous Strapless Printed Chiffon Dress by Aidan Mattox the moment I laid eyes on it. Its strapless form fitting bodice flatters my body beautifully and its watercolour floral print was a breath of fresh air on this extremely hot day. Although it was a steal at only $230, it’s on sale right now for only $49.99.  I kept my makeup extremely natural, since I knew it was going to melt off my face anyways. I kept my look chic and trendy with an oversize pair of sunglasses that not only brought a freshness to the look, but kept the sun out of my eyes, ensuring I didn’t miss one second of play time. I also knew I’d be walking a lot, so I went with flats. Nothing worse than walking around for 10+ hours in heels. These Vionic sandals are not only comfy, but they added a touch of bling and flintiness to my overall look.
