It does have somewhat of a sticky texture, but it is still very applicable and leaves a slight orange tint to the skin. It gives the skin a cooling sensation that’s quite comfortable to wear with the lovey citrus scent of oranges. You apply a thick layer of the BIO Beaute by NUXE Vitamin-Rich Detox Mask gel, leave on for 5 minutes then gently massage it into the skin. As you massage it into the skin, it instantly transforms into an oil. As you add a little water, it turns into a rich, milky consistency that washes clean away.
I am obsessed with face masks, but this BIO Beaute by NUXE Vitamin-Rich Detox Mask is unlike any other mask I’ve tried before. It’s a multi-tasking mask that’s perfect for summer, as it isn’t too heavy. Even though it says to leave it on for 5 minutes, I’ve been leaving it on extra-longer, upwards of 20 minutes, without it becoming stiff, hard or crunchy. Immediately after removing the mask, my skin looks clearer and more hydrated. It feels healthier, fresher and more radiant after only one treatment. The fresh, crisp and fruity scent is almost good enough to eat. I love that it isn’t too thick and creamy, last thing we want to be applying in the summer is a heavy mask. It’s done an excellent job at keeping my breakouts under control, which is a huge plus for me. It’s coming to a Shoppers near you this September and retails for $27 for 50ml.
